2nd Tasmanian Weed Conference: Why Weeds Won’t Win!

16 – 17 October 2008

Tramsheds, Inveresk Railyards, Launceston

The conference is a great opportunity for all involved in weed management to learn, to share information, to build on their networks and to discuss weed management in Tasmania.

Local and interstate speakers will be featured, including ecologist and author, Tim Low, who will deliver the keynote address.  Preventative weed management, community weed management, and the management of significant weeds will be addressed by presenters.  See the registration form for more information on the program.

A gourmet BBQ and live band will top off the first day, and a field trip with picnic lunch will be held on the second day, showcasing weed management in action.

“Please note: there will be no late fee, but it is preferred that you register as soon as possible”.
Any questions call Elizabeth Schrammeyer on (03) 6234 2939 or email secretary@tasweeds.org

We look forward to seeing you all there.
